I'm sure you have experienced the effect of sound, whether it was a piece of music that stirred an emotion in you or a noisy environment that left you feeling uncomfortable/anxious or the sounds of nature be it the song of the birds or the ebb and flow of a tide by the seashore that felt more nourishing.

Sound can have a profound effect on us, we are made up of predominately water (60%) and sound travels through water faster and further than in air. Having a sound bath (which doesn't involve any water, although you can lie on one of the blow up beds) is a place where you settle yourself into a comfortable position, lying, sitting and as the various instruments are played, feel the vibrations resonate throughout your body. This is a deeply immersive, full body listening experience that used the sound of the instruments to encourage gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes to nurture your body and mind.  This can lead to deep relaxation, its a perfect way to escape from the stresses of day to day life, leaving you feeling renewed and energised.

For a more personalised sound bath, you can book either a 1-2-1/ for a couple alternatively  you can join us at a sound bath held in various locations across Devon. Please message me for more details.

I also offer tuning fork therapy.  Tuning forks can be used to stimulate the body's natural healing processes. This is an auditory and physical experience and you will hear the sound of the tuning fork after it is struck and then feel the actual vibration when the handle of the fork is placed at various points on the body.  It is a gentle way to feel the vibrations pass through your bones and body.
A video of the sound space in my home.  I have 3 gongs, all which create very different vibrations and therefore sounds, Tibetan singing bowls each has a main note that resonates with one of the chakras, Shamanic drum, hand pan and various percussion instruments
A small taste of the sound from one of the gongs. She is 40 ins wide and represents the goddess Green Tara.  She is revered for her compassion, protection and swift action to help those in need.
