Welcome to my website, thanks for dropping by

I feel so privileged to be with and teach so many wonderful folks.  I absolutely love what I do.  Thank you so much for all your trust and support during our sessions, can't promise, but still working on knowing my right from left:).
I wish you all a very happy festive season and a fulfilling, peaceful and joyful 2026.
Thank you xxxx

We are moving towards the seasons of hibernation, of cooler weather, darker mornings and evenings.  It can  sometimes be easy to slip into a feeling that reflects that however  if we are mindful and aware we can find something that lightens our mood. The smile of a loved one, the  changing colour of the leaves, a glimpse of sunshine, something that makes you heart glow.  It might be a brief feeling but it's real. Hold on to those.

Namaste with love

Sarah xx

Something else new for 2026.....

I am very excited to say that I will be offering a Chair Yoga class starting in February.  I have been asked a few times to explore this and it is finally happening:).  So if you would like to experience a way of exercising that suits your mobility at the moment (no getting up and down on to the floor:)), has lower impact on your joints whilst improving your flexibility, balance and strength, why not come along and join us.  I promise it will be fun.....

My big project for 2026... I have in years gone by participated in some activities to raise funds for various charities including a tandem parachute jump, fire walking and running.  I haven't done anything like that for a few years and to celebrate me reaching pensionable age:), I thought it was time to embark on another adventure.  I have signed up for a trek in the Himalayas to raise funds for Hospiscare, from 31st Oct till 11th Nov 2026.  This will include a couple of days volunteering for a community project in Delhi, on overnight train to Dharamshala (home of the Dalai Lama), four days trekking across the Himalayas to Triund finishing with a visit to Aga and the Taj Mahal.  The highest point we will be climbing to is 2843m (3000m is considered to be high altitude).

Hospiscare is an amazing organisation which supports over 2,000 adults across the heart of Devon every year. The support they provide is second to none from getting the correct pain relief,  social activities, practical advice to providing specialist end of life care.  All provided free of charge.  The Hospiscare has to raise £10 million a year. There are a group of 30 of us signed up to do this fundraising challenge and we are hoping we can raise a ridiculously huge amount of money.  I am paying my own expenses to be part of this event, so any money I raise will be passed directly to Hospiscare. To assist this I have set up a Just Giving page and if you feel that you could donation anything, large or small, it would be very much appreciated.  Search for Sarah_Hale1 Trek to Himalayas

Some of the events I will be holding will be to raise funds for this as well. So watch this space and if you see me ever so slightly out of breath, then I'm in training mode......

Thank you very much for everyone who has contributed so far.  The total is creeping up, I have already been able to raise £920 via the Sound Bath events and private donations.  All contributions are so very much appreciated.  I have been asked to hold more Sound Baths in the New Year, watch this space.  We are also talking about a sponsored walk along the Granite Way sometime in early May.  If you fancy a walk with us, short or long, drop me a message and I'll add you onto the list :)https://www.justgiving.com/page/sarah-hale-1?utm_medium=FA&utm_source=CL

Retreat review 2024

We had our October 24 yoga retreat again back at Holwell Holistic Retreat.  We  were blessed with lovely weather, even being able to practice an impromptu outdoor walking meditation, feeling the sun on our skin. The venue and food was as ever amazing but obviously what made the whole weekend so very special was the lovely souls who joined Lauren and I.  Thank you to everyone who came, joined in wholeheartedly, with much joy and laughter.  Our theme of the weekend was gratitude.  How easy it is to forget that especially when we are struggling with the pressure of daily life.  We were treated to some beautiful meditation sessions with Lauren and had a thought provoking Cacao ceremony, creating individual herb bundles containing a reaffirming intention to be lit at some point in the future. We played about with various yoga asanas and used 'sliders' in one session to experience them in a very different way. Such fun!
My grateful thanks to everyone who made the weekend such a success.  Here's to the next one
