Yoga and Sarah
I started yoga after having a major operation and wanted a type of exercise that would give me time
to heal as well as keeping fit. That was seven years ago and now I am completely
hooked!
I am a member of the British Wheel of Yoga and completed the foundation course to further my own practice.
In 2005, I started my teacher training and now hold the British Wheel of Yoga teaching diploma.
Yoga is not ...
A competition – our
bodies are all different – some asanas will be easier for others – find your own level and work with your breath
to deepen and develop your strength.
A quick fix – it
takes time for us to re learn how to allow the mind to focus on one thing at a time rather than rush around doing several
things at once!
A religion or cult –
the aim of yogic practice is to bring the mind, body and breath into harmony and work as one.
