Hi and welcome to Sarah's Yoga......
I am passionate about Yoga and its benefits -
physically, emotionally and spiritually, and want to encourage as many people as possible to experience Yoga.
I have
always had an interest in yoga but came to it wholeheartly after having a major operation. I wanted a practice
that would mend me physically and spiritually. I had one to one lessons to begin with then went on to enrol with a
class. I joined the British Wheel of Yoga and to deepen my practice took the Foundation Course. I so enjoyed that
and decided that I wanted to encourage others to experience yoga. I completed the two and half years training to achieve
the British Wheel of Yoga teaching diploma.
This website is a one way of explaining and giving an insight of how Yoga can
benefit us all whatever our size, age and ability. (I am not in my first flush of youth or a size 10!!). I believe that
we all have the opportunity to learn throughout our lives. I like to think that Yoga is taking me on a journey and would
like to share with you my path of learning, experience and knowledge so far.
I live in Devon near
Dartmoor and love taking Yoga out to small communities and choose to teach mainly in village halls - currently in
Sticklepath near Okehampton about 20 mins from Exeter and in Okehampton Community College.
I am
available to teach on a one to one basis in your home. Another way of joining in - is to come and stay on
one of the Yoga weekend breaks held in a beautiful part of Devon. My teaching style is one of fun, with practical
tips and is definitely non-competitive.
Namaste
